Last week I went on reception. Reception is a very important for life. You practice stuff like communication and literacy skills, also you practice mathematics skills and also client skills you build more confidence being on reception. I enjoy being on reception as it helps my confidence a lot.

In today's session I did my salon manager assessment. A salon manager needs to make sure they salon is clean and tidy, The salon needs to be tidy to it keeps a professional image. A client doesn't like to see an untidy salon.  They also need to arrange everything in cupboards and  make sure they are all clean, full and in place.

The salon managers need to make sure everything in the salon is in place such as couches, bins, bag bins, equipment and clean the wax pots as well. I completed this to all of my ability.

in today's session we did a trades test and  had to do french polish and a red but my french polish didn't go to plan so my target for this week is french polish.

In the first session of work experience I set up my blog. I have chosen my background because it reminds me of the sky on a sunny day and your laid on the grass looking up at the sky. I had to make an email account for me to achieve this blog. It was fairly straight forward.

Where I see myself in 5 years is working in a beauty salon making clients feel good about themselves and making them want to come back I want to work away.

In my school years I did work experience in year 10 I did my work experience in a hair dressers but I didn't like it I knew it was the wrong place for me and  I knew I wanted to do beauty therapist this is the job I want to do in the future.

My target today is to link with a beauty therapist on g-mail and hope to achieve work experience in a salon.
